LA GOTA DE UN MAL RECUERDO
Como gota del Océano
que eleva el oleaje
que dentro de mi barca
cae como una lágrima expandida
como un mensaje de dolor
que corre de un lado a otro
y llega a mis pies.
Una gota que me trae el recuerdo
del llanto de un pasado
que aun permanece
entre los recuerdos escondidos
de aquellos días
donde la angustia y la tristeza
bañaron las calles de mi pueblo.
Carreras de gente de un lado y otro
con sus manos aterrorizadas
solo el llanto era testigo
de aquel suceso triste
donde arrodillados
suplicaban en un por qué
por qué tuvo que suceder.
Se colmaron las calles
de azarosos momentos
socorriendo las víctimas
de aquel suceso inesperado
y como preludio muy cerca
los fantasmas asechaban
los últimos suspiros
de los caídos.
THE DROP OF A BAD MEMORY
Like a drop from the Ocean
that raises the waves
that inside my boat
falls like an expanded tear
like a message of pain
that runs from one side to the other
and reaches my feet.
A drop that brings me the memory
of the crying of a past
that still remains
among the hidden memories
of those days
where anguish and sadness
bathed the streets of my town.
People running from one side to the other
with their terrified hands
only crying was a witness
of that sad event
where on their knees
they begged in a why
why did it have to happen.
The streets were filled
with hazardous moments
helping the victims
of that unexpected event
and as a prelude very close
the ghosts stalked
the last sighs
of the fallen.
