The stars above, they twinkled with grace,
As I learned to embrace my place,
In this world of contrasts, I found my way,
And discovered the beauty of each passing day.
The secrets of life, they whispered to me,
In the silence of my heart, wild and free,
I listened closely, and heard their call,
To embrace my soul, and answer their call.
So here I stand, bathed in the light,
With every fiber of being alight,
For in loving my shadow, I found my might,
And the truth that sets us free, takes flight.
