Thanks for letting me know. Strange the comma should make a difference but I'll take them out to see.

How about asking others if they got the Mention before making a change. If so, then it's something on my end. I know some capitalize my name and I don't get the Mentions.

I had another question. I thought a We-Write was just about you providing a prompt word(s) or introductory story and didn't require a partner. The Partner We-Write is the one that requires you to find a partner to write with. Am I totally confused on this issue?

A freewrite is " just about you providing a prompt word(s) or introductory story and didn't require a partner"

The we-write requires finding a partner, then writing a story together based on the prompt.

There seems to be some new people a bit confused on this. Thanks for asking!

Not trying to be compative, but these are the We-Writes I participated in previously:

Ah, I see. Yes there are two versions of the we-write. One you use the daily prompt. the other you’re given the start of a story. I think @zeldacroft chose to do the latter most of the time.

I’m choosing to use the daily prompt for now, to see how much participation we get before investing the time to write the prompts. I’ll probably ask for volunteers to write the prompt at some point. If you’re ever interested in writing the prompt just let me know!

Does that make sense? I’m sorry I misunderstood your question. No combativeness detected.

Thank you. But my initial question was from the standpoint of a Partner We-Write (need a partner to complete) as compared to just a simple We-Write (you provide a prompt - no partner participating).

I've participated in both previously, and both have prompts.

The 2 previous versions as I remember are the:

We-Write
Partner We-Write

So is the question about the name I used for the contest? You’re right they used to have different names for each kind. I’m doing the best I can with limited time and didn’t think about differentiating when I wrote the posts.
