The pastor wept in agony when the judges from a Ibadan Nigeria Customary Court sentenced him to jail for a case he knew nothing about.

This is how the story started: there was a woman who happened to be a member of the pastor's church. She volunteered to sweep the church and clean its surroundings twice a week.

Suddenly, her daughter came up with a pregnancy and falsely accused the pastor, claiming it was his child.

This serious accusation caused a group of people to gather and insist that the pastor must be sent to jail.

The pastor denied the allegation, asking why he would commit such an act, especially since he had a wife and a daughter.

Despite his denial, the group, taking advantage of the fact that the church was small and the pastor was not influential, took him to court in less than two weeks.

The court, based on the accusations of the girl and her mother, sent him to Kirikiri prison, claiming he was responsible for the pregnancy.

At the police station, the pastor was forced to write a false statement admitting to the crime. He refused, stating that he would rather die than admit to something he did not do. Despite his refusal, he was sent to jail. After nine months in prison, the girl gave birth to a baby girl.

The pastor's wife remained in agony but stood by her husband, saying, "My husband is a God fearing man. He would never do such a thing." The children also had no one else to turn to during this difficult time.

After the baby was born, the pastor's lawyer requested another hearing, demanding a DNA test. When the DNA results came out, it was revealed that the pastor was innocent.

This serious implication could have sent both the mother and daughter to jail, but the pastor chose to forgive them. He handed everything over to God. It was later discovered that a group of people, whom the pastor had been preventing from embezzling church funds, had orchestrated the entire scheme. They had encouraged the woman and her daughter to accuse the pastor so they could carry out their plans.

By the time the pastor returned to the church, the funds had been embezzled. However, he refused to press charges against anyone and left everything in God's hands.

This story serves as a lesson to Christians. Learn to stand by your spouse during trials. Trust and support your husband no matter the situation.

Also be vigilant with the people you called your associates or friends and be smart enough to codedly identify their intentions towards your finance
