Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the prompt "trust the ducks" taken from @daily.prompt's post
If you will like to write microfiction in 100 words, feel free to give this challenge a try.
"Get back here, Sammy!" Maria called after her four year old son who was adamant in pursuing a brace of ducks.
They had stopped by Norman's farm, a dear family friend, when the ducks were just released from their coop.
"They won't stop," Sammy called out to his mother as he jogged after the ducks.
Norman chuckled, hands folded across his chest. "He need to trust the ducks. They're headed to the small pond over there."
"Sammy, leave them be," Maria yelled. Her son pause in his excitement. He watched the ducks slow down at the pond and waddle in.
