Anastasia went for a check-up, but the doctor told her she has to do some tests because he suspects she has a tumor in her ovaries. Anastasia was shocked because she worked out and had a healthy diet. How come this is happening to her?
With much nervousness, she did the tests and showed the results to her doctor. What she was afraid was staring at her. She was shocked of the truth.
"We have to take the tumor out," Anastasia's doctor said to her.
"Do whatever it takes, I want to be healthy again," Anastasia said.
"There is something important you should know about," Anastasia's doctor said to her.
"What is it? Tell me!" Anastasia said worried.
"You may not be able to have children after the surgery," Anastasia's doctor said to her.
Anastasia was silent for a good few moments. She looked down and went into a daydream.
"Did you hear what I said?... Anastasia....... Anastasia....." Anastasia's doctor said to her.
Anastasia gathered herself and replied to the doctor, "Yes, I'm here, I'm listening."
Anastasia's doctor kept speaking to her, but she was in another world. It was more than a shock to her.
Eventually she did the surgery, and unfortunately she lost her ability to bear children. She was heart-broken. But this was not the end of the world. She thought about adopting, and finally did it. A baby girl named Amber stepped into her life, and she was happier than ever.
