It's DailyPrompt by the #freewriters and @mariannewests prompt is " autumn equinox"
Autumn became equinox and made the world to glow in very beautiful gold and red colours. It was very cold and clear, and the air smelled of dead leaves in the forest and distant smoke. With her beige innocent-looking scarf disturbingly loose around her neck, Eliza walked leisurely in the park. The trees were covered with the warm colors of Oct.-Nov., the leaves rustled as they spoke to the wind and their branches created beautiful shadows.
With dusk approaching the warmth of the day only remained as long as the sun was still in sight as the evening approached. Once again it was a balance which serves as the best example of the fact that the day and night split the sky between them. There Eliza put down the basket and stood with her arms folded, the reflection of fire in the water of the pond before her. The last couple of rays of the sun before the autumn equinox was memorable—It was like nightly songs before the harsh winter climbed into the trees.
