What a strange way to love me

What a strange way to love me
That leaves me sad and rested
You have an inert heart
And that you were never taught to love.
Beautiful woman on the outside
But cold of soul
And heart of stone.
That with trickery
You wrapped me in your nets
Relying on your angelic looks
And your guts.
That with your fine bearing and elegance
I was blinded,
And I could never see
All your wickedness and arrogance.
You spurned all the love
That I offered you,
And all the affection I had for you
Was drowned in a glass of wine
That every night you drank.
Feeling that you owned
Of the whole world
But one day life will give you
The same pain and above all the contempt.

We said mostly beautiful girls make us sad

And the non-pretty ones too
