I fell in love with the beauty of your soul,
Of that essence that seemed so calm.
But it turns out that I fell into an illusion,
And now I wonder, where's my reason?
I became an expert in illusion,
I believed in your words, in your sweet talk.
But I only know that I'll love you, how ironic,
Until you start to forget me, what a joy.
I gave myself without reserve, without thinking,
But you only knew how to disappear and push me away.
Your empty promises, your vain actions,
Left me wondering where's the deception.
But no matter, I learned my lesson,
That love can be a cruel deception.
So I'll move on, never looking back,
Leaving your lies and your false compass behind.
I fell in love with the beautiful, that's true,
But now I know to be cautious in love.
I won't regret what could have been,
Because I know I deserve better, that I know.
