I return again to where our hearts entwine,
Sheltered in nature from the world and time.
These winding paths and shadowed nooks recall
Sweet moments shared within these verdant halls.
The bubbling brook sings songs of days past through,
Its rippling notes like whispers meant for you.
Green bower and glen protected from sight,
In shadows here our souls took private flight.
Within this woodland sanctuary apart,
Two kindred spirits found each other's heart.
Your eyes on mine like tea that soothed my soul,
Warm rains of words between us as we strolled.
Now when grey skies weep and storms clouds gather,
I walk these groves to feel you near, your laughter
Echoes soft amid the trees we clasped beneath,
Filling my mind with poetry and peace.
Our forest refuge keeps love's imprint deep,
While in this sacred glade fond memories sleep.
