Amidst blows, neglect

Between defeats and triumphs
I have anchored myself
In turbulent waters
I have crossed paths
Of thorns
I have survived storms
I've squandered joys
And wept sorrows
And here I am still standing
Giving all for all
Shedding tears
Watching sad dawns
Sunrises in tears
And nights between pain and oblivion
I am the story
Of my own history
