Take care with your words,
both in speaking them and in listening to them.
They are not mere symbols in the inkwell,
Their essence transcends the letters strung together.
They are flowers that exhale sweet fragrances,
Leaves that whisper with harmonious echo.
Songs that lift the soul in lyrical dances,
Or darts that wound with harmful edge.
To the thirsty, they are the water of life,
But they can blind like thrown sand,
To those who refuse to heed them,
Ignoring their concentrated force.
Words are tangible and real,
More palpable than anything that cannot be touched.
They fill deep voids, total abysses,
Which some have foolishly emptied.
