a reputation
This is my post for #freewriters 2651 prompt hosted by @mariannewest
Yesterday, I had to go to the dermatologist and this time she wanted to check my entire body. She wanted me to take everything off and put on a paper gown. My other dermatologist let me keep my undergarments and socks on so I was not happy to sit there completely nude.
As I lay there waiting for the Dr to come in and examine me, I wondered what would happen if there was an emergency and everyone had to leave the building in a hurry and all I have on is a piece of paper that is open down the backside.
But none of my worries came true and after a short nap, the Dr finally came in to examine me. She froze some places that have come back after I used the face eating cream two times. There is a place on my left hand that she froze and a place on my right forearm where she took a biopsy. I should know the results in a few days.
With family, I have a reputation for being the one who cares for plants. They call me when they have a question or problem with them.
I call several of them my babies because I care for them as if they are a part of the family. This is one of my babies, it is a double flowered Rose of Sharon. They go dormant every winter so I was not worried about it not having leaves, but I was worried about the sooty mold that was covering it, plus other growing things. Thirteen days ago I scrubbed it with a brush, soap, and water, and said a prayer for it.
Yesterday I was so happy to see my prayer was answered. I noticed all of the green on it. I say happy but it brings me so much joy to see this. You see my mom's sister Aunt Pat gave it to me, she is now the last surviving sister. My mom's other sister passed away a few days ago. RIP Aunt Janet.

You got a pretty "by the book" dermatologist!
I hope that the biopsy result would be a good one.
Thank you.
This one is young enough to be one of my granddaughters.
Praying for a good result of the biopsy
