Today was another day where by over 50,000 people are balloting for a limited 5000 bed space in the University of lagos and you can't ballot unless you pay the school fee first and the school fee is just too much for an average individual sponsoring themselves to go to the school.
The school are not concerned about how you get the money all they want is just to make sure that everyone has paid. To be honest life is not fair to those taht can't afford to make the payment and for this reason some might have to leave the school because of the increment in the fee.
Not too long ago that war also started between Israel and Palestine and everyday i see videos of children crying, dying and lost. It's terrible to be honest and these are the signs of end times. No one is happy about what's going on and nobody pray that such happens to them. We all want a peaceful life and a life which we can afford what we want.
Currently in my country, the currency against dollar is just continually increasing and it's so harsh on everyone right now. Even while some might be happy because they earn in dollars but most of the people in the country are not earning in that way. Everyone needs help even though they are not coming out to say it.
In the community where I reside, a concern has been escalating with each passing day. The relentless surge of floodwaters has reached a point where it has become nearly impossible for us to move across to the neighboring street without the use of canoes. This dire situation has persisted unabated for three weeks.
Despite our strenuous efforts to communicate this urgent issue to the relevant governmental authorities, our pleas have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. The response from the government, or rather the lack thereof, has been disheartening and disappointing. Not a single reply to any of our earnestly crafted letters or messages has been forthcoming. This predicament has left our community in a state of frustration and helplessness as we grapple with the ever-worsening flood situation, desperately awaiting the assistance and acknowledgment that seems to remain elusive."
Looking forward with optimism, as the sands of time continue to trickle through the hourglass of life, we anticipate a brighter future where every facet of our existence is enhanced.
With dedication and perseverance, we strive to see our dreams and meticulously crafted plans come to fruition. May this journey lead us to a place where our deepest desires are fulfilled and our long-awaited goals are realized.

Floodwaters in Nigeria? I thought Nigeria was a very hot and dry country.
You can see that in Europe we don't know a lot about the rest of the world, only what the mainstream media is showing us... :-( Hold tight! Things are changing in a decentralized world! !HUG
Whenever the dam is opened we experience flood and it's usually opened during rainy season
Why they open that dam? And why they do that in the rainy season??? !LOL
That's what they normally do. Due to excess rainfall the dam might overflow, so the only option is to release some to the states around
Ok, but what is the difference with letting it overflow?
!PIZZA
If water is not released, the water pressure may even damage the structure and a huge calamity can occur downstream. So, if there is excessive rain and water reaches beyond the critical levels, even if there is a flood like situation downstream, it becomes mandatory to release water from the dam and maintain water level below critical levels at all times.
That sounds reasonable indeed. Thanks for explaining! !HUG
