True story! Well, most of it is true anyway. The true end for the clump of hair is that I threw it away. But that wouldn't be funny, now would it?

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
I LOVE THIS STORY and the last line is the best - but the red teapot in the picture had better not be the one that broke, as I love it. Can you also assure us the teapot didn't really shatter? LOL. I'm so happy to see you recovering your wit, facility with words, and humor - and that element of surprise. :) You're on a roll, and I hope you keep moving with forward momentum.
lol ok ok the real truth ends with the scream. The true end of the teapot is that I sold it in my store way back when I sold my stuff for social contact during our covid-con-finement.
I feel better now. :) The teapot did not shatter! Yes!!!!
One day they will feel very stupid for having done that. It makes no sense whatsoever. They are zombies following commands. I can't believe it was that child's idea. Maybe it was a dare.
As for the teapot, now I wish I still had it! I'm trying not to drink coffee, and I'm all about tea.
