I'd like to shout to the wind,
to say how much I feel here,
a distant, absent love,
that will never come.
There are no words to explain
this voracious loneliness,
dark reality,
that my life weakens.
I wish I could tell everything,
in your faithful company,
but you're not there, and the pain
finds no way to flee.
Despair that suffocates,
spite that won't go away,
nights of anguish and pain,
I'm all choked up.
