Sometimes I am a hurricane,
sometimes a gentle breeze,
I am a serene sea and also a fierce wave,
an empty sunset, night with light.
Strong as a centennial tree I feel,
but sometimes a wisp, a light wind.
I cry for the unjust, I feel the pain,
I drink life whole, or fear swallows me.
Cold as an iceberg, frozen in my being,
I melt in the sun, warm pleasure.
Duality in me, like the universe,
serenity and fury in a single verse.
