It was a very nice and pleasant evening. Rain pattered against the rooftop café's awning. Lena fidgeted with her napkin, exchanging awkward smiles with her blind date, Max. Conversation stuttered until he pulled out a sketchbook, capturing her likeness with deft strokes. As art merged with attraction, their connection transformed, kindling an unexpected spark. Max did not want to spoil this date. He adored her so much. This moment meant so much for the both of them. They had been through so much of trauma in the recent few years. Max wanted to trust Lena and Lena was afraid of expressing her feelings. Still, they felt that the connection was too pure to be left in the middle.
The picture is my own.
