As a kid, I had big dreams
To be a lawyer, to travel the world
To see kings, to shake presidents
To be nothing but the best at all my desires
A few years after my dreams,
I never entered the court
But I have travelled the world and seen several dignitaries
My dreams seemed achieved
But yet I feel unfulfilled
Not because I didn’t become a lawyer
But I wanted something more than I had earlier craved for
As I watch the young kid dreaming about being a pilot
Probably desiring to travel the world
I see nothing in the kid but me again
This is just me in front of me
I see the anxiousness and desire
The innocence of a child, which was once my feature
But in this future, where I now reside, life is totally different
I never knew I would see myself again
In a child that dreams as much as I did
I hope he gets the future he desires
But much more if I were to advise
I’ll say don’t expect fulfillment after your achievements
And don’t think you’ll get all you want
End
I see a boy who dreams of becoming a pilot. His innocence and willingness are so pure, he probably wants to travel the world. This picture gives dejavu vibes, it's a vivid description of my younger self.
