Late afternoon, the antelope were on their way down to the river, thirsty and driven. The African heat had been cruel.

Starvation. The pinnacle would be the last breath of his prey. Waiting, timing was everything.

The lion leaped out undetected from behind the thicket. He was spared another day.

Oh hi! 👋 I didn't see this earlier because the spelling in the username tag wasn't quite right. But I wanted to see what my buddy serowa was up to. So here I am! I !LUV this writing my dear. I struggle with the aspects of nature that involve killing but as someone who has eaten meat my whole life it's clearly something I should look at more! But it's beautifully written.
