A date. A date. A date. I'm cold. I'm sitting in an uncomfortable position in order to be in front of a heat source, but my fingers are still cold. The dog is whining and scratching at the door. One dog will go after another, older dog, so the older dog gets precedence. He is in the house, the other dog is outside. The other other dog could come in, but I haven't bothered to let her in. My body does not like to sit this way. I feel an uncomfortable stretch in my right hip and the left side of my back. There. I shifted. I am much more comfortable sitting on my knees like this, but I know that very shortly, my feet will start to fall asleep because of the lack of circulation in this position. But I feel the warmth aimed at me from my right side and it's nice, though it doesn't reach my fingers. There's the wind chime outside, one of them. Actually it's the one I wouldn't even consider a wind chime, it's lovely cut stones hanging down, but they do hit against each other and the noise comes more clearly in than that of the bamboo wind chime. The other wind chime, that's made out of some very hard material, seems to require a lot of wind and I don't hear it at all. So, about that sun hitting the couch. I suppose I could shift up to sitting on the couch rather than using the seat of the couch as a table for my laptop. Then the heat source would be blowing at the left side of my legs and the sun from the window would do a good job of warming the upper half of my body. Maybe when this freewrite is up. Maybe
