My heart stopped until those soft cries crept through the paper thin walls.
I released my breath.
Those cries meant she was still alive...

It's a fun challenge trying to write a story that makes sense and hits at least some emotion in the reader in so little words.
Absolutely, I've never tried any prompts like this before joining Hive, I love doing them. Really keeps the creativety up! Keep up the good work!
