Lagos is known for its vibes and the fact that if you can hustle you won't go hungry.
But there's something about Lagos that can get under your skin. Traffic or Go slow like we say over here. And this can get pretty bad especially if there's is repair to be carried out on that road.
The third mainland bridge has had series of repairs done on it but that didn't affect the work life of people so much as there were alternatives routes to ease the flow of movement.
But when you want to work on a major bridge that links to one of the most busiest market in Lagos the (Balogun market) for me I feel the government are to do such road construction repairs in the night or over the holidays .
So after having a restful weekend with the declaration of 2 work free days for the Eid Al Fitr celebrations. We woke up to traffic yesterday in Lagos and when I say Lagos everywhere was blocked.
Some people got stocked in it and spent hours in it getting to the office tired and worn out some trekked just not to sit in the traffic.

I trekked as well. I wasn't 🤣 in the mood initially I didn't want to even move but I had an appointment and was already behind schedule.so I trekked from Lekki phrase one to oniru and back to phase 1 just to get back home in good time.
Some other people did longer distances like from CMS to Victoria island.
Now when this happens transporters take advantage of the situation and increase the fair of taking people from one location to another.
I heard some people paid as high as 5,000 Nigeria Naira just to get to their homes while some paid 3,000. In all this prices are because of the traffic so commuter's suffer the more.
Another funny thing about Lagos and how it stresses one is even after getting home by 3am or 4am or 5am this morning, this same individuals still got up for work as if nothing happened.😁😁

Honestly it can only be lagosians.
Am not exaggerating. I myself work up as early as 5am to meet up with another client appointment. Was I tired oh yes was I suppose to be sleeping yes. But I had work to do. Should I change the topic of this write up and it should rather be why lagosians fine it hard to rest 😃. In all we adjust to everything Lagos throws at us. We do our best and leave the rest. Lagos is said to be the center of excellence. Does it live up to it name anymore .
Well that I can't say but we can still say we get by no matter what, the stress won't break us up it will build us more.
Lagos we move no dulling
Face of a Lagos girl😅
This is the more reason I don't want to stay in places like Lagos despite the development there. Just imagine meeting this kind of traffic during an emergency..
P.S:Kindly source your first photo @superwoman25
He settled down where he studied.@ovey10 I understand you and this is same with my elder brother he left to study outside Lagos and refused to come back.
Maybe if I had left Lagos I will feel same but am here and my business keeps progressing. That am grateful for. I was so tired that day I couldn't even type on my phone but the next morning I was up all by God's Grace.God is great indeed.
Thanks for the pictures reactions all sources added.
