The summer is coming

While the sun travelled
Winter stepped in
Casting its chilly snow on the plane
Subdued vegetation,
Many animals went on forced leave

Now, the table has turned around
A new day is here
The sun has come back
Forcefully stepping on the horizon,
To clear the snow with its breath

The plants are rising to their feet
Smiling broadly with colourful flowers
For all to see their beauty
Life is fully returning
The summer is next to reign

Tell the trees that lost their leaves -
"Begin to display your green leaves."
Tell the runaway animals,
"Come back home,
"Come back to enjoy the warmth of summer,
"But, remember, someday,
"The sun will travel again".
