✅ what i see
A wild boar has come down and is eating the crops I've planted.

✅ what i feel
In my country, wild boars are outlaws who are causing a lot of damage to crops and threatening people's lives.

✅ story

If you encounter a wild boar, do not shout or show your back.
Wild animals often attack because they instinctively know you are scared.
If you throw rocks or branches at a wild boar, it will think you're threatening it and will attack you.
If you are confronted by a wild boar, the best thing to do is to look around quickly, climb a tree, hide behind a rock, or back up to a place where you can take cover.

Wild boar damage to crops and human life is often attributed to their overpopulation in ecosystems where they have no natural enemies.
Boars give birth to five to six litters at a time, and with no top predators in the wild, their numbers are bound to skyrocket.

Some people have been affected by wild boars as they prepare to ship their ginseng. Half of his 330,000-square-meter field was destroyed by wild boars.
The wild boars ate only the mature ginseng, leaving the younger ones untouched.
The damage alone is said to be worth more than 1 billion won.

In five years, wildlife caused 54 billion won in crop damage, with wild boars causing the most damage.

As a result, experts are calling for urgent measures to reduce the wild boar population to reduce human casualties and crop damage.

Thank you for reading my post. 😀

You are right! They are a threat to man because they damage crops meant for human consumption. This could lead to food shortages.
Thank you so much my dear friend for the gift of SBI, I really appreciate it 🙏

I knew they can be very dangerous but not that there's such a overpopulation. Aren't there hunters who can reduce it? I assume importing a few hundred of wolves will not help.

This was quiet informative and like always a good read.

Thank you for the SBI tip. 😊

A great day to you
@wakeupkitty

I appreciate the HSBI.

It is based on a public broadcasting organization's report on the current situation in Korea.
Have a nice day. 😀

Then you have to mention this in your post as the source of the information.

Yes, that’s right.
Have a nice day. 😀
