Merry Christmas
Dec. 25 is a day in Christianity to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and it is a public holiday in many countries.
Since February 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been at war for more than two years.
I hope to have a ceasefire at least on Christmas Day, but the Christmas truce has broken down.
There was a time when gunfire stopped on Christmas Day. There was a time when gunfire stopped during World War I.
It was on Christmas Day, December 25, 1914. At that time, Britain and France were the allies and Germany and Austria were the allies.
There was a war on the border between Germany and France, and in the trenches, the soldiers looked at the enemy across the street and were cold and afraid.
On Christmas Eve, December 24, something miraculous happened. The Germans started singing Christmas carols in German. Then, they started to hear songs in the trenches of the British army on the other side.
It was the same song even though the language was different. When a warm carol rang out, neither the German nor the British could hold their guns.
The next day, a soldier showed up in the British trenches, lifting his hat. The Germans were put on alert.
The British raised their hands up. The British and the Germans began to move one step closer to each other.
Thus, the soldiers on both sides shook hands and exchanged names. They shared their snacks and alcohol and even played soccer.
Officers from both sides promised not to fight for Christmas. It was the most peaceful event in the midst of one of the most devastating wars in human history.

NATO would not abide by a ceasefire. Those who started that war, NATO and Biden want that land for the resources and will do what ever they can to get it and hurt as many as possible along the way.
