What better way to start with the following quote,
Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes round in new form." — Rumi
Come to think of it, everything is pretty much an illusion that we cling to and hold on to, not letting it go, whereas its destined to come back to us in one form or the other without the bounds of time and space.
Sab Maya Hai, is an Urdu composition written by the Pakistani poet Ibn-e-Insha that expresses disillusionment with the world, declaring love and loyalty to be false pretenses. Confirming to the Sufi thought of illusion of truth and reality of material world.
The first step in the journey of truth is to leave the illusion of truth. — Rumi
While Sufi thought acknowledges the world as a fleeting illusion, it's one that offers an opportunity for growth, learning, and connection with the reality. This aspect of life allows us to let go of the ego, give up control, and relinquish any attachment to the time. By recognizing the illusion for what it is, we can live more authentically, embracing both the impermanent and the timeless aspects of existence.
After all,
"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." — Rumi
