Letting Go Is the First Step Toward Transformation

in Freewriters4 days ago

Let go of the things you’re not proud of. We’ve all got something we wish we could forget. But you’ll never change your future by obsessing over the past.

Instead, create a vision—who you want to become. Make it specific. What do you wear? How do you speak? What kind of people are you surrounded by?

Write it down.

Map it out—daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly.

Then execute. Be non-negotiable with yourself. No days off.

Step into the role of the person you want to become. Act it out until it stops feeling like acting.

That’s how you transform. That’s how you win.

According to Strong’s Concordance, one of the meanings of the word “thought” is soul. That’s no small thing—thoughts are psychic entities.

And if you set out to become a godly man, don’t be surprised when the intrusive, ‘demonic’ thoughts start showing up. They’ll remind you of what you did years ago. Whisper that you’re not good enough. Try to convince you that transformation is a waste of time.

Here’s what you do: thank them. Then remember—even the apostles battled sin. One of them was literally a murderer before God called him.

That word ekklesia means the called-out ones.

So if there was room in God’s kingdom for a man who persecuted His people, make no mistake—there’s room for you too.

Observe yourself and the world around you from a third-person perspective.

Plan your reactions, emotions, and behavior in advance. Issue strict orders to your mind: how do you want it to operate? Tell your body how to feel.

You’re only at the mercy of what you don’t know.
