Hey, how have you been?
I'm back on Hive and writing after 6 months, although I've been lurking around once in a while just to see what's been up with the markets and on Hive.
I've been held up with the professional course that I'm currently pursuing to climb up the career ladder, and the assessments have been keeping me busy.
I've decided to take some time off for Hive daily to build healthy habits like consistency because going to the gym isn't currently happening as it takes up at least two hours of my time.
What have you guys been up to?
Since I always like to share some value in my post, I'll leave this video I was just watching before making this post.
I found the suggestions quite practical and useful as I've already experienced it previously and it works.
Get to work as soon as you wake up and don't open any of your devices that give you instant gratification, don't eat anything until the noon, four to five hours of full focus on the task at hand.
You’ll find that in just four hours, you can accomplish what would normally you take an entire day.
That's the power of FOCUS.
When your baseline level of dopamine is low, even basic tasks such as brushing your teeth, and having a cup of tea becomes enjoyable.
That's what Charlie talks about in this video and how to achieve it in a sustainable way such that you don't crash and burn out.
Hope you will find this helpful I some way.
I have to get back to work now.
Thanks for reading!
