I learned

I learned to stay hours and hours
under the hot sun,
whether working
or enjoying a day at the beach.
I learned to walk in the rain
in heavy downpours when
the need to get somewhere
somewhere was important.
I learned to walk hours and hours
with no money for transportation
and without good comfortable shoes.
I learned to go hungry without asking
and without anyone noticing.
I learned not to cry or complain
when there was mistreatment at work
but to better myself to show that I was
to show that I was a worthy and
worthy and capable person.
I learned to leave in silence
where I am not wanted or accepted
with my face and my ego enhanced
because I know who I am and how much I am worth.
I learned so many things in my long
faith, perseverance,
tolerance, control, self-improvement,
also conformism, not to desire
what others have and have earned,
to the outrage, to injustice, to mockery,
to tolerate anger, not to fight for what
for what belongs to me
and I have left it lost.
The only thing that interests me in this life
is sincere love and for that reason I give myself
all with courage, sincerity and fidelity
