El día de hoy 21 de febrero del 2025, en vísperas del cumpleaños de mi princesa Ashley, estoy muy emocionada por este momento y además porque vendrá a pasar con nosotros. Si amigos, soy muy liberal, pero a mis hijos los extraño mucho cuando no están conmigo. Para ponerle más condimento a la cosa, la Argentina está padeciendo una ola de calor insoportable. Temperaturas oficiales dicen que andaremos por los 40°, pero para mí, hace como 60° 😆.

Today, February 21, 2025, on the eve of my princess Ashley's birthday, I am so excited for this moment and also because she is coming to spend it with us. Yes friends, I am very liberal, but I miss my children very much when they are not with me. To spice things up, Argentina is suffering from an unbearable heat wave. Official temperatures say it will be around 40°, but for me, it's about 60° 😆.
El día de ayer, para adelantar el plato preferido de mi hija, herví un matambre y con el caldo, sumados a algunas puntas de carnes que quedo, realice una sopa para el día de hoy. Mi familia me quiere matar, ya que con este calor, tomar sopa es insoportable 😃. Pero nada que reprochar y debemos agradecer que hay algo en la mesa, para alimentarnos.

Yesterday, to make my daughter's favorite dish yesterday, I boiled a matambre and with the broth, plus some leftover meat tips, I made a soup for today. My family wants to kill me, because in this heat, eating soup is unbearable 😃. But nothing to reproach and we should be thankful that there is something on the table to feed us.
Llego a la casa y por supuesto, como siempre sucede antes de estos eventos, nos ponemos a limpiar (el baño, ordenar la ropa, el patio del frente, el fondo, los perros, los gatos y podría seguir 😃). Y mientras ordenábamos, nos encontramos con un presente que nos trajo nuestra amiga Marluy @mamaemigrante y tiene que ver con una sidra. Todavía recuerdo con pena, el día que veníamos todos relajados charlando y ella con una mochila pesadísima en sus espaldas. Gracias Marluy por todos los presentes que trajiste. No era necesario, pero igualmente agradecemos tus gestos.

I get home and of course, as it always happens before these events, we start cleaning (the bathroom, tidying up the clothes, the front yard, the backyard, the dogs, the cats and I could go on 😃). And while tidying up, we came across a present that our friend Marluy @mamaemigrante brought us and it has to do with a cider. I still remember with regret, the day we came all relaxed chatting and she with a very heavy backpack on her back. Thank you Marluy for all the presents you brought. It was not necessary, but we still appreciate your gestures.
Estos días de mucho calor, lo importante es hidratarse con mucha agua y eso es lo que hacemos en casa. Pero siendo viernes, a la espera de la princesa y con la sidra bien fría, no dude en destaparlo y disfrutar un momento con ellos, que yo los llamo, mis príncipes.

I love white wine and even more if it is sparkling. In this case, it was not and Marcelo likes any drink that has some alcohol 😁 (joke). We enjoyed it a lot, since we have been taking care of our flour intake and also all the training we have been doing. Our liver was really clean, until we started to taste the delights of our princess.
En la noche comeremos cositas ricas que estoy cocinando, también torta obviamente y algo tomaremos. Por supuesto, nos pondremos lindas para la ocasión y registraré todo para contarle en próximos episodios. Solo deseo que baje un poco la temperatura, de manera que podamos disfrutar un momento agradable.
Hoy siento que debo agradecer por todo. Lo más importante es que tenemos salud y muchas ganas de seguir luchando por nuestros sueños. Hace 21 años, recuerdo que hacía también mucho calor. Yo estaba enorme en capital federal y Marcelo estaba aquí construyendo la casa, donde hoy vivimos. Hoy la niña ya voló y estamos muy orgullosos de ella.
Espero que mis locuras les inspire y que sigamos luchando. No existe otra opción, que la de seguir.

In the evening we'll eat some goodies that I'm cooking, also cake obviously and we'll have something to drink. Of course, we'll get all dressed up for the occasion and I'll record everything to tell you about it in future episodes. I just wish the temperature would drop a bit, so we can enjoy a nice moment.
Today I feel I have to be thankful for everything. The most important thing is that we are in good health and we are eager to keep fighting for our dreams. 21 years ago, I remember that it was also very hot. I was huge in the federal capital and Marcelo was here building the house where we live today. Today the little girl has already flown and we are very proud of her.
I hope my crazy things inspire you and that we keep on fighting. There is no other option but to continue.

Soy de los que disfrutan mucho del calor, pero estos extremos realmente son muy molestos. De igual manera, sigo prefiriendo esto al frío rotundo. La sidra estuvo riquísima y sinceramente, me quede con ganas.
