After reading your poem @akumagai , I sense that it could be an experience of someone who has changed their priorities and moved on, regardless of the damage done.
One can also see images of sadness, pain, betrayal and frustration, accompanied by a breakup or disappointment in a relationship.
Illusions sometimes cause us to see mirages.
