RE: You Shouldn't Have

in Blockchain Poetslast year

We had a moment or two, you and I,
we shared a thought, a word and a wine

I particularly loved these lines for some reason. I think it needs a lot of dexterity to come up with something like this and you ATE, so to speak.

I think being versatile is a major flex and you've captured the raw emotions of love and loss and longing so well. Amazing.

Versatility is valuable in my experience, but often what holds us back, is our embarrassment in trying. I am definitely not a poet, but writing poetry also helps develop other skill areas and reflection points. Why are we so shy to try?

I feel if we can reflect, if we can think, if we can be able to evaluate our lives, then we can actually try poetry. Because that's basically what it's all about, the outpour of your emotions through your words.
