RE: Reflections on time

As human beings, we definitely feel the need to reflect on time from time to time 😁 Thanks for this invitation you make in your poetry by providing some inspiring insights. The chosen words are very poetical and interesting to discover, such as ''naked eyes'', a very beautiful visual expression.

I often wonder
Of things left unsaid
Of superfluous thoughts gone astray
Unsaid, left out, just thoughts ...

Wonder if there is a poets dictionary, know of one?

Interesting question...I have seen some kind of Poetry Dictionary or Glossary of Poetic Terms on the Internet...but if you think of poets' names...not sure...although I guess it might exist somewhere...because lots of things simply exist today 😁

It would be handy to have in hand when you are lost of words or having a writers block. Do you have a poet you read or know of?

There are many I have read over the years...I think right now of Omar Khayyam.

That's a deep dive in poetry right there.

I have not heard of them until today.

My foray was only ever touched by school reading of Robert Browning.

And a sprinkling of tides, to push my brain over

I also have to check Browning 😁

His poems are dark and somewhat gloomy at times, a reflection of Victorian era living.
