RE: "Ages of commitment" (Original Poem)

I love the wordplay. Using bygones as a verb is weird and cool. Same with “over crosses”, which looks like it could have a double meaning. But I don’t understand the message or theme of this poem all that well, whether or not that’s a problem at all.

The theme is precisely pinpointing the role of time and commitment. How does it both work hand in hand, in our life.
