I do like the natural frame. But a lot of the best places are occupied with people just looking. That's fine, every so often I find an empty one and get photos. I'm still trying to get a shot of the tourist balloon through a hole, but that could be difficult because most point downward.
The nice thing about fortresses is they are difficult to accidentally destroy and are generally built to last. Seoul used to have walls around it, but they were removed in the early 1900s to make way for modern roads and tram lines. There are still walls on some of the hills. Actually all sorts of cities removed their walls and put in ring roads or rails. It's a shame really because the cities that kept it all look great.
