Brugg and the municipality of Windisch lie at the confluence of the three rivers Reuss, Limmat and Aare. Brugg means "bridge" in Swiss German.
Here you will find historical cultural assets with an international reputation dating back to the Habsburgs in Roman times and the Middle Ages. On this day has been snowing. A quiet pleasant city with many possibilities for day trips from here.

Here in the Vindonissa Museum you can see the most important finds from more than 100 years of research into the one and only Roman legionary camp on the territory of today's Switzerland
