Hello friends and Hivers! I hope you're all well :) Unfortunately I haven't been able to be here for the last few days, and I have to say I'm delighted just to be able to wave at your screens ^^ !
To be perfectly honest, I've been quite interested in ETFs and everything that goes with them, and as time can't be split up as much as Bitcoin, I've had to make the choice (or suffer the consequences) of not being able to come here.
But here I am, and as it's been a 'long time', here's a summary in images of one of our latest walks in the form of an exploration of a corner not far from where we live...
As far as the weather is concerned, it seems that we're spoilt for choice every time, as it's almost always sunny when we're in the countryside ! The landscape of hedgerows bordering small roads, themselves passing through pastures: it was everything we wanted !
Now we're on the outskirts of the village, and I've decided to divide this visit in two so that it doesn't take too long...
Our first stop is the old mill in the village of St Victor. These are water mills, and the building below seems to be flanked by a small stream that can be heard singing...
And a few minutes later, I'm looking at the mill and thinking that it must be pretty humid inside !
The road climbs again on the other side of the stream...
A superb tree - one of many ! - marks out our route.
From the stretch of forest, we emerge directly onto this long, graphic road. At the very end, in the direction we're heading, a hamlet comes closer with each step we take...
To give you an idea of the distance and size of the little village, here it is in the distance, perched above the pastures in its little setting of winter forest.
Almost at once, and then gradually, the light becomes more orange and as the end of the day approaches, the shadows stretch out in wonderful patterns that adorn the embankments.
How can you not fall in love with such scenes and landscapes ?
Here we are in a small hamlet. Here, all the gardens and houses seem well kept, but I only take a few images, as people don't really like it when we photograph their homes, and in a way, I understand them !
We always try to take the smallest and cutest paths....
But there are times when you just can't avoid the main roads...
Here is the pasture in the last light, bordered by this long ribbon of asphalt...
As if by chance, this is where I find some rubbish for a quick pick-up.
And here we are on the way back, this time to the entrance to the village, which I'll tell you more about next time! I'd like to thank you for your visit and wish you a very pleasant weekend !

Bonjour chers amis et Hivers ! J'espère que vous allez bien :) Ces quelques derniers jours, je n'ai malheureusement pas pu être présent ici et je dois dire que je suis content, rien que de venir faire un petit signe de la main sur vos écrans ^^ !
Pour être tout à fait honnête, c'est l'ETF et tout ce qui s'en suit qui m'a pas mal intéressé et comme le temps ne peut pas se fractionner autant que le Bitcoin, j'ai dû faire le choix (ou le subir) de ne pas pouvoir venir ici.
Mais me voilà et comme cela fait "longtemps", voilà le résumé en images d'une de nos dernières promenades sous la forme d'exploration d'un coin non loin de chez nous...
Niveau météo, il semblerait qu'à chaque fois, nous soyons gâtés, il fait presque toujours beau lorsque nous sommes à la campagne ! Le paysage composé de haies bordants de petites routes, elles-même passant au milieu des pâturages : c'était tout ce que nous voulions !
Là, nous sommes à la sortie du village et j'ai préféré diviser en deux cette visite pour qu'elle ne soit pas trop longue...
Nous sommes en route vers le vieux moulin du village de St Victor dans un premier temps. Ici, il s'agit de moulins à eau et en effet, le bâtiment en bas semble longé par un petit ruisseau que l'on entend chanter...
Et voilà quelques minutes plus tard, le moulin dont je me dit qu'il doit faire bine humide à l'intérieur !
La route reprend en montée de l'autre côté du ruisseau...
Un arbre superbe - parmi tant d'autres ! - jalonne notre chemin.
Depuis la portion de forêt, nous débouchons directement sur cette longue et graphique route. Tout au bout, dans le sens que l'on emprunte, un hameau se rapproche à chacun de nos pas...
Pour vous donner un idée de la distance et de la taille du petit village, le voilà au loin perché au dessus des pâturages dans son petit écrin de forêt hivernale.
Presque d'un coup et puis petit à petit, la lumière franche devient plus orangé et alors que la fin de journée s'annonce, les ombres s'étirent en de merveilleux dessins qui ornent les talus.
Comment ne pas tomber amoureux de pareilles scènes et paysages ?
Nous voilà désormais dans un petit hameau. Là, tous les jardins et les maisons semblent bien entretenus, mais je ne prends que quelques images, les gens n'aiment pas trop que l'on photographie chez eux et dans un sens, je les comprends !
On cherche toujours à prendre les chemins les plus petits et mignons....
Mais à des moments, on ne peut éviter les grandes routes...
Voilà le pâturage dans les dernières lumières bordé par ce long ruban d'asphalte...
Comme par hasard, c'est là que je trouve quelques déchets pour un ramassage express.
Et nous voilà sur la route du retour, cette fois-ci à l'entrée du village que je vous présenterait un peu plus la prochaine fois ! Je vous remercie pour votre visite et vous souhaite un très bon weekend par avance !
