Greetings, my friends.
Tula is an old Russian city, which is located 170 kilometers south of Moscow. By the way, Tula is 1 year older than Moscow. The first mention of this city was in 1146. The city is especially famous for producing weapons, samovars, and gingerbread. Samovars are no longer relevant, but guns and gingerbread are very popular.
I visited this city at the end of April and it made a charming impression on me.
On the first day of our arrival, I went for a walk with the children to Central City Park and had dinner at the Peter Petrovich restaurant.
The park turned out to be large in area. There is a real forest on its territory, which is pleasant to walk through, and there are entertainment attractions for all ages from the youngest children to men of my size. I liked the forest. He reminded me of something from Pushkin's poems. It seemed to me that I was in the 18th century and young ladies in magnificent dresses and dandies with top hats on their heads walked through this forest.
But nowadays, instead of dandies in parks, you can meet cyclists and runners. There are even special bike paths here, which is a rarity in Russian cities. But we must admit that the situation with the popularization of bicycles is moving forward. But it is necessary to take into account the fact that in Russia the summer period is short.
On this Ferris wheel, I liked the moment that there are 3 types of booths - fully closed, semi-open, and open, as in the days of my childhood. I offered my son-in-law to ride this wheel in open booths, but he refused, he can only ride in a closed booth.
The Green Planet! A very interesting composition in the center of a large open area. I think there are a lot of people here in the summer, and especially children.
During my walk, the weather was not the best for entertainment, but some of the rides were already working and there were even audible girlish voices from the extreme rides.
"I love our park."
I also fell in love with this park. But I don't have much time for a walk. My children and I came to have dinner at the restaurant.
There are fast food outlets in the park. There are quite a lot of them. There are just ordinary trailers, and stalls, but there are also large outdoor cafes.
We have reserved a table at the Peter Petrovich restaurant. A wonderful restaurant with delicious cuisine, craft beer, and delicious liqueurs.
We had a great time on our first evening in Tula.
Tula is the birthplace of the samovar!
We didn't have time to visit any samovar museums. What does this mean? There is a reason to come here again.
Wooden fairy figures! I especially liked the left figure of the Goblin. The author managed to see such a fabulous hero at the root of the tree.
The distance between my hometown and Tula is a little more than 1000 km towards the West. But there are 2 big differences in climate! When I was in Tula, it was snowing in my hometown. The difference is felt even between Moscow and Tula in terms of weather. There was a feeling in Tula that summer had already come!
There is a feeling of summer, but the fountains are not yet turned on. They turned on on May 1. It should be a beautiful fountain.
Friends, if anyone visits Tula, I recommend taking a walk in this large city park.
Thanks for reading...
