Chua Linh Phuoc, Da Lat - Vietnam

Impressive. The first word I said when I saw one of the impressive pagodas in Da Lat. The pagoda is a place for Buddhists in Vietnam to worship, but uniquely, there are many stories about this pagoda. Let me tell you a little about my story when I was in Chua Linh Phuoc, Da Lat.

At first I just passed it because I had to go back to the hotel after seeing San May Cau Dat. Because it was still very early, finding breakfast was also very difficult, so I went around by motorbike while enjoying the atmosphere in Da Lat city at that time. Then, when I saw the map, I was interested in trying one of the largest pagodas in this city. One of the interesting things is because this pagoda has free entry, so, it's better to go there immediately.

The Beautifull Pagoda in Da Lat

Well, this pagoda was previously built by a community and carried by one of the Buddhist leaders at that time. Because of the strong unity of the community, this pagoda was built. The spirit and strength built by the community had a good impact on the construction of the Pagoda which was very good in terms of architecture and building structure.

The unique and structured design makes this pagoda worth a visit so you won't be curious anymore. Because, there are many things that amaze me, especially some statues made of unusual materials. It's like coming to a hidden gem, so because you've gone far, it's not wrong to stop by.

Unusual Pagoda

From the shape of the pagoda, there is an unusual color, full of color. If seen from afar, then you will think this pagoda is painted very well with a harmonious color. Usually, the color of the Pagoda has one color and rarely has a variety of colors, however, this Pagoda is different.

If you look closely, then you can see that almost all corners of the pagoda are made of broken pottery or ceramics that are then put back together into the shape of the building. This is what makes this pagoda so unique. Can you imagine how this pagoda is made with a combination of broken ceramics or pottery that is made in detail?

So, because it uses a combination of wood, pottery and ceramics, that's what makes the texture of the base of the wall very rough, detailed and embossed. It is very rare, because you can see that almost every statue, dragon picture or painting is made from a mixture of broken ceramics and then glued into a beautiful shape.

On the other hand, I feel the difficulty in making paintings and details that have a high sense of art. The complexity of some of these details cannot be said to be ordinary, it is extraordinary and may be the only one in Da Lat city.

One of my favorites is the statue of the goddess Kwan Im which is rarely exposed from several articles on social media. Well, this is a very unique statue, you will be very surprised when you find out. So, this statue is made from Immortelle Flower which we usually call the eternal flower that we often find on mountain slopes.

Although the color is brown, the flower still has the same shape, without wilting, it only changes color. Goddess Kwan Im is covered with very beautiful Immortelle flowers.

The beauty of this pagoda can be seen from the other side, I was on the second floor from across the pagoda. This pagoda is located in an area, entering a small alley, but, the entire contents of the alley already belong to the pagoda. So, there are 2 opposite sides of the pagoda, so if you want to see the beauty of the pagoda from the other side, you can just cross over. It is really very spacious and you can enjoy the beauty of the architecture of the Pagoda building.

Really, this is an exciting experience, the first time seeing a pagoda that is very unique in terms of the beauty of the building. Maybe when you go to Vietnam, especially to the city of Da Lat, just stop by here for a while and see the most beautiful pagoda in Vietnam.

See you the next time hive friends!
