In my last post, I shared my trip to Antalya Food Festival with you. Since the festival was held in Karaalioğlu park, we continued to visit this beautiful park that day with my friend @angelnature777 and her daughter. There are three viewing terraces in the park.

The worker and his child, made by sculptor Mehmet Aksoy, are on the second viewing terrace. There are 54 different bird species in Karaalioğlu Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks of Antalya. One of them is the endangered green parrot.

The “Hand” statue of Kuzgun Acar was made in memory of Governor Haşim İşcan. The statue, which experienced tragic events during the September 12 period, has a very unknown feature. It is rumored that; The sculptor and his wife put the wedding rings inside the statue.

Bu güzel parkta Antalya halkının mirador ismi ile andıkları 3 adet seyir terası bulunuyor. Bunlardan bir tanesi de aşk ile yapıldığı söylenilen bu el heykelinin bulunduğu seyir terasıdır.
Kuzgun Acar’ın “El” heykeli, Vali Haşim İşcan’ın anısına yapılmıştır. 12 Eylül dönemi**nde başından çok trajik olaylar geçen heykelin çok bilinmeyen bir özelliği var. Rivayet o ki; Heykeltraş ve eşi, heykelin içine nikah yüzüklerini koymuştur.
Evet sevgili arkadaşlar dünyanın dört bir yanından gelen yerli ve yabancıların gözdesi olan bu güzel parkı sizlere gezdirmeye çalıştım. Umarım beğenmişsinizdir.🙏🇹🇷
