Hello, hello fellow travelers, it is a pleasure to greet you, hoping that you are enjoying good health and have an excellent weekend, I am happy to share my visit to the Boca del Río sector in the city of Cumaná, it is located by the bridge of the perimeter avenue (Gonzalo de Ocampo), very close to the passenger terminal, it is called the mouth, because at this point the Manzanares river and the sea converge, if we look closely we can see the different shades of the water, the Manzanares river is the lightest in color and the most intense blue corresponds to the sea, it is a beautiful place to go for walks and this was what I did in the early hours of the day, in the company of my husband, it is a busy area, because there is also an important fish sale, where you can buy them at affordable prices.
As I walked, I took the opportunity to talk to one of the men who was cleaning his boat, who explained to us that in this place there is a very deep pit and about five decades ago, a very large ferry sank in this pit and the most renowned diver in the city tried to locate the boat but it was impossible, the ferry had no passengers only a tractor that they were trying to transport to the Araya peninsula, according to this man there is a great mystery in this pit, beneath the calm and warm blue waves there is a great depth that has not yet been determined, while I was explaining the mysteries of the sea with the man, I stayed for a long time observing the landscape, the beauty of the sea and some birds flying and swimming in the river.
Hola, hola amigos viajeros, es un placer saludarles, deseando se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan un excelente fin de semana, me siento feliz de compartir mi visita al sector boca del Río en la ciudad de Cumaná, se ubica por el puente de la avenida perimetral (Gonzalo de Ocampo), muy cerca del terminal de pasajeros, recibe el nombre de la boca, porque en este punto convergen el río manzanares y el mar, si observamos detalladamente se aprecian las diferentes tonalidades del agua, el río manzanares es la de color más claro y el azul más intenso corresponde al mar, es un hermoso lugar para realizar caminatas y esto que fue lo que hice en las primeras horas del día, en compañía de mi esposo, es una zona concurrida, porque además se ubica allí, una importante venta de pescado, en la cual puedes adquirirlos a precios accesibles.
Mientras caminaba, aproveché para conversar con uno de los señores que limpiaba su bote , quien nos esxplicó que en este lugar se encuentra una fosa muy profunda y hace aproximadamente cinco décadas, un ferry muy grande se hundió en esta fosa y el buzo más reconocido de la ciudad, intentó localizar el barco y fue imposible, el ferry no tenía pasajeros solo un tractor que intentaban trasladar a la península de Araya, según este señor, hay un gran misterio en esta fosa, debajo de las tranquilas y cálidas de color azul se esconde una gran profundidad que aún no ha sido determinada, mientras con el señor explicaba los misterios del mar, me quedé un largo rato observando el paisaje, la belleza del mar y algunas aves volando y nadando en el río.
In the Boca sector, in addition to a fish market, there is a boat stop that takes you to different destinations such as; Manicuare and Tacarigua, two beautiful towns in the Cruz Salmeron Acosta municipality, on the Araya peninsula. From this point in the city you can see part of it, which is the mountain at the bottom of the sea; Below the bridge you can see several boats, which belong to a fishing village, with small houses located on both sides of the river, which are used to transport fish along the river to the mouth. Although it was very early, the sun was quite strong. I think the proximity of Easter and the heat are giving signs of how this dry season will be, but even so, it was a nice walk in this lovely area of the city, bathed by the river and the sea, which I did not know. I had already been told about it and the beautiful contrast where the sea and the river meet. This time I had the opportunity to see it and I loved it. I made the most of the walk to observe every detail. In this area there is also a sector called the dike, where several seafood processing companies are located.
En el sector la boca, además de una venta de pescado, funciona una parada de botes que lleva a diferentes destinos como; Manicuare y Tacarigua, dos hermosas poblaciones del municipio Cruz Salmeron Acosta, en la península de Araya, desde este punto de la ciudad se aprecia parte de ella, que es la montaña al fondo del mar; debajo del puente se observan varios botes, que corresponden a una aldea de pescadores, con pequeñas casas ubicadas a ambos lados del río, los cuales se usan para transportar los pescados en el curso del río, hasta la boca, aunque era muy temprano el sol estaba bastante fuerte, creo que la proximidad de semana santa y el calor están dando señales de como será esta temporada de sequía, pero aún así, fue un buen paseo en esta linda zona de la ciudad, bañada por el río y el mar, la cual no conocía, ya me habían hablado de ella y de el hermoso contraste donde se une el mar y el río, esta vez tuve la oportunidad de verla y me encantó, aproveché la caminata al máximo, para observar cada detalle, por esta zona se encuentra también un sector llamado el dique, donde se ubican varias empresas procesadoras de productos del mar.
On this walk through another coastal area of the city, in addition to seeing the beautiful surroundings, I had the great fortune, so to speak, of photographing several birds as they flew and moved through the sea, also two that were comfortably swimming and posing very calmly for the camera, I approached very carefully and managed to photograph them, they look beautiful, this photo is definitely my favorite; on visits to other beaches it had been very difficult to take photos of the birds that are always flying near the sea, this time it was different and they collaborated with me, which I greatly appreciate, they stayed very still while I took the photo and they were very comfortable and relaxed, enjoying their aquatic space.
En esta caminata por otra zona costera de la ciudad, además de conocer el lindo entorno, tuve la gran dicha, por así decirlo, de fotografiar varias aves mientras volaban y se desplazaba por el mar, también dos que estaban cómodamente nadando y posando muy tranquilas para la cámara, me acerqué con mucho cuidado y logré fotografiarlas, se ven hermosas, esta foto definitivamente es mi favorita; en visitas a otras playas había sido muy difícil tomar fotos de las aves que siempre están volando cerca del mar, en esta ocasión fue diferente y ellas colaboraron conmigo, lo cual agradezco inmensamente, se quedaron muy quietas, mientras les tomaba la foto y ellas muy cómodas y relajadas, disfrutando de su espacio acuático.
The view from the bridge is very beautiful, the trees are reflected in the water as well as the boats, creating a beautiful landscape, it was a very relaxing and fun walk, which I enjoyed to the fullest, another time I plan to go earlier, to see the sunrise, according to the gentleman's explanation, they are beautiful, especially with the first rays of the sun, where the sea looks golden, I imagine a beautiful landscape that I hope to see soon.
La vista desde el puente es muy hermosa, los árboles se reflejan en el agua al igual que los botes, creando un lindo paisaje, fue una caminata muy relajante y divertida, que disfruté al máximo, en otra oportunidad pienso ir más temprano, para ver el amanecer, según la explicación del señor, son hermosos, especialmente con los primeros rayos del sol, donde el mar se ve de color dorado, me imagino un lindo paisaje que espero observar pronto.

Aunque vi algunos desechos en las orillas del rio, me sorprendió ver sus aguas tan limpias. Los rios que se encuentran en las ciudades aqui, estan muy contaminados.
Tienen un rio y un paisaje muy hermosos.
