Hello everyone,
I hope you are well and in a good mood. Ramadan is over and there was a bitterness in us. In addition to this bitterness, we experienced the joy of Eid. It was a sad holiday for me because I spent this holiday away from my family. We couldn't go to our family because of my husband's job, so we celebrated Eid where we were.

Umarım iyisinizdir ve keyfiniz yerindedir. Ramazan ayı bitti ve içimizde bir burukluk oldu. Bu burukluk yanında bayram sevincini yaşadık. Bu bayramı ailemden uzakta geçirdiğim için hüzünlü bir bayram oldu benim için. Eşimin işinden dolayı bayrama ailemizin yanına gidemedik. Bizde olduğumuz yerde bayramı kutladık.
We decided to go to Üsküdar beach. When we went out, there was silence in Istanbul. It was the first time we could walk on the streets so easily. There was hardly anyone on public transport. It was really surprising. I can't say the same for the beach part because it was very crowded. Like us, they preferred to spend the holiday here.
Üsküdar sahile gitmeye karar verdik. Dışarıya çıktığımızda İstanbul'da bir sessizlik hakimdi. Sokaklarda ilk defa bu kadar rahat yürüyebildik. Toplu taşımalarda kimse yok denecek kadar azdı. Çok şaşırtıcıydı gerçekten. Rqhat bir şekilde Üsküdar sahile gittik. Sahil kısmı için aynı şeyi söyleyemiceğim çünkü burası çok kalabalıktı. Biz gibi onlarda bayramı burda geçirmeyi tercih etmişti.
We went to the beach. The air of the Bosphorus was perfect. It was peaceful and caressed one's soul. We walked against the wind. There were people fishing. The fishing rod could come to people. They were warning people before casting a fishing rod. It was a sensitive behaviour. In addition to those fishing, there were those who enjoyed the Bosphorus and the view.
Sahil kısmına geçtik. Boğazın havası mükemmeldi. Huzur verici ve insanın ruhunu okşuyordu. Rüzgara karşı yürüdük. Balık tutan insanlar vardı.Olta insanlara gelebilirdi. Olta atmadan önce insanları uyarıyorlardı. Duyarlı bir davranıştı yaptıkları. Balık tutanların yanında boğazı ve manzarasının keyfini seyrederek çıkaranlarda vardı.
We continued walking. We had not visited the Asparagus mosque, which we always pass by. We visited the mosque. The original name of the mosque built by Mimar Sinan is Şemsi Ahmet paşa mosque. Sinan the Architect was very meticulous and built this mosque at the point where the winds of Asia and Europe intersect so that birds would not land and pollute the mosque. Indeed, the birds were circling around the mosque but they could not land. It is really a marvellous thing.
Biz yürümeye devam ettik. Her zaman yanından geçtiğimiz kuşkonmaz camiyi ziyaret etmemiştik. Camiyi gezdik. Mimar Sinan'ın yaptırdığı caminin asıl adı Şemsi Ahmet paşa camidir. Mimar Sinan çok titiz olduğu için kuşların konarak camiyi kirletmesin diye Asya ve Avrupa rüzgarının kesiştiği noktaya bu camiyi yapmış. Gerçekten de kuşlar caminin etrafında dönüyor ama konamıyorlardı. Mükemmel bir şey gerçekten.
We entered the courtyard, which was crowded. The porticoed building, which was part of the mosque, was opened for use for the library. It was closed because it was evening time. There were graves at the back of the mosque. The interior was very small. Since it was very crowded and people were worshipping, I could only take one frame from the interior.
Avlusuna girdik. Avlusu kalabalıktı. Caminin bir kısmı olan revaklı yapı kütüphane için kullanıma açılmıştı. Akşam saati olduğu için kapalıydı. Caminin arka kısmında mezarlar bulunuyordu. İç kısmı çok küçüktü. Çok kalabalık olduğu için ve insanlar ibadet yaptığı için iç kısmından sadece bir kare çekebildim.
After leaving the mosque, we continued to walk along the beach. The crowd was getting bigger and bigger because there was the Maiden's Tower just ahead. The crowd was flocking here. Peddlers were adding colour to the Bosphorus. The smell of corn was spreading very well. When we went a little further, there were people celebrating the holiday with halay and playing.
Camiden çıktıktan sonra yine sahil boyunca yürümeye devam ettik. Kalabalık gittikçe artmaya başlıyordu çünkü az ileride kız kulesi vardı. Kalabalık buraya akın ediyordu. Seyyar satıcılar boğaz kenarına renk katıyordu. Mısır kokusu ortama çok güzel yayılıyordu. Biraz daha ilerleyince bayramı halay çekerek ve oynayarak kutlayanlar vardı.
We came to the Maiden's Tower. There was an intense interest in the Maiden's Tower. Those who wanted to be photographed were queuing up. Everyone was respectfully taking photos and leaving. We took our photos and sat in an empty area to watch the Maiden's Tower. As it got darker, the Bosphorus started to blow more. We bought tea to warm up and watched our view with tea. The Maiden's Tower lighting was lit and it became perfect. It was a sight to behold. After enjoying the view here for a while, we ended our day.

Kız kulesine geldik. Kız kulesine yoğun bir ilgi vardı. Fotoğraf çekilmek isteyenler sıraya giriyordu. Herkes saygılı bir şekilde fotoğrafını çekilip çıkıyordu. Bizde çektik ve kız kulesini seyretmek için boş bir alana oturuduk. Hava karardıkça boğaz daha fazla esmeye başladı. Isınmak için çay aldık ve manzaramızı çay eşliğinde seyrettik. Kız kulesi ışıklandırması yandı ve mükemmel bir hal aldı. Seyretmeye doyum olmuyordu. Burada biraz manzaranın keyfini çıkardıktan sonra günümüzü sonlandırdık.
