I hope you are well and in good spirits. As you know, I am preparing for the exam and I cannot spare a lot of time for my hive family because the exam time is approaching. I think I will spend a lot of time here after the exam. It is really enjoyable for me to spend time in my hive family. For now, I spend time here whenever I find the opportunity.
Today I will share the Zal Mahmut Pasha complex I have been to before.

Umarım iyisinizdir ve keyfiniz yerindedir. Ben gayet iyiyim. Bildiğiniz gibi sınava hazırlanıyorum ve sınav zamanı yaklaştığı için hive aileme çok vakit ayıramıyorum. Sınavdan sonra burada bol bol vakit geçirmeyi düşünüyorum. Gerçekten hive ailemde vakit geçirmek benim için çok keyifli. Şimdilik fırsat buldukça burada vakit geçiyorum.
Bugün daha önce gittiğim Zal Mahmut Paşa külliyesini paylaşacağım.
Zal Mahmut Pasha complex is located in Eyüp Sultan district of Istanbul. Zal Mahmut pasha is the vizier of Suleiman the Magnificent. The complex seemed to cover a large area when viewed from the outside. It aroused curiosity. We went inside and discovered it.
Zal Mahmut Paşa külliyesi İstanbul'un Eyüp Sultan ilçesinde bulunuyor. Zal Mahmut paşa ise Kanuni Sultan Süleyman'ın veziridir. Külliye dışarıdan bakıldığında büyük bir alanı kaplamış görünüyordu. Merak uyandırıyordu. Bizde içeriye girdik ve keşfettik.
There are workshops and classrooms in the complex. The doors of the workshops and classrooms were closed so we could not go inside. There were porticoes in the courtyard where the mosque and classrooms were. They are usually built for shading in very hot regions. It was also used in this complex. It was a visual feast.
Külliyenin içerisinde atölyeler ve derslikler var. Atölyelerin ve dersliklerin kapısı kapalı olduğu için içeriye giremedik. Cami ve dersliklerin olduğu avluda revaklar vardı.Revaklar çoğu tarihi yapılarda bulunuyor. Genellikle çok sıcak bölgelerde gölgelenmek amacıyla yapılmış. Bu külliyede de kullanılmış. Görsel şölen oluşturmuştu.
Next to these workshops were the mosque, the fountain, the tomb of Zal Mahmut Pasha and the cemeteries. The interior of the courtyard was silent. We entered inside the mosque. Mimar Sinan's name and the date of his work were written on the mosque door. Like the courtyard, the inside of the mosque was silent. Sinan the Architect had created wonders again. The mosque has a lot of glass. The reason for this is that the light coming from outside is reflected from the glass to the glass to illuminate more areas. Sinan the Architect is really very clever. He proved this to us in his works.
Bu atölyelerin yanında camisi, şadırvanı ve Zal Mahmut Paşa'nın türbesi ve mezarlıklar bulunuyordu. Avlunun iç kısmı sessizliğe hakimdi. Caminin içerisine girdik. Cami kapısında Mimar Sinan'ın ismi ve yaptığı tarih yazıyordu. Avlu gibi caminin içi de sessizdi. Mimar Sinan yine harikalar yaratmıştı. Caminin çok fazla camı bulunuyor. Bunun sebebi de dışarıdan gelen ışık camdan cama yansıyarak daha fazla alanı aydınlatmak. Mimar Sinan gerçekten çok zeki. Bunu eserlerinde bize kanıtlamış.
The harmony of red and brown tones was captured in tile patterns. There was really a very eye-catching harmony and visual. Inside the mosque, stained glass art, wood art and calligraphy art attracted my attention. The mosque was supported by columns. The red carpet laid on the floor emphasised the coffee tone in the tile patterns.
Kırmızı ve kahve tonu uyumu çini desenlerinde yakalanmış. Gerçekten çok göz alıcı bir uyum ve görsel vardı. Caminin içinde vitray sanatı, ahşap sanatı ve hat sanatı gibi sanatlar dikkatimi çekti. Cami sütunlarla desteklenmişti. Yere serilen kırmızı halı çini desenlerindeki kahve tonunu daha ön plana çıkarmış.
When I went out, there were cemeteries next to the mosque, and there was a gate with an entrance to the courtyard. This door led to the neighbourhood street. We did not use this door to go out but the door leading to the beach. When we took a general look before going out, the mosque looked very beautiful from the courtyard. The mosque had a single minaret. We left here admiring Mimar Sinan once again. This magnificent structure should not remain so silent. I think it should be visited more.

Dışarıya çıktığımda caminin yanında mezarlıklar vardı.Burada avluya girişi olan bir kapı vardı. Bu kapı mahallenin sokağına çıkıyordu. Biz çıkmak için bu kapıyı değilde sahile çıkan kapıyı kullandık. Çıkmadan önce genel bir baktığımızda avludan cami çok güzel görünüyordu. Caminin tek minaresi vardı. Mimar Sinan'a bir kez daha hayran kalarak buradan ayrıldık. Bu muhteşem yapı bu kadar sessiz kalmamalı. Daha fazla ziyaret edilmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum.

STOPİstanbul'un tarihi yapılarının iç mimarisi özellikle ilgimi çekiyor. Yıllar önce bu kadar özenli kaplamalar olması hayranlık duyulası. Günümüzde hiç böyle güzel mimariler yok. Sadece AVM'lere özeniyorlar 😂
Dediğin gibi hemen hemen bütün mimari yapılarda farklı bir ambiyans var. Her karşılaştığım mimari yapı beni daha fazla tarihi yapı keşfetmeye teşvik ediyor. Avm'ye neden özendikleri belli.🙂
