RE: The oldest Oak in Florida

in Worldmappin10 days ago

That’s a really awesome tree. I’m glad the thing hasn’t been knocked down by any of the crazy hurricanes that have afflicted Florida! We have some oaks that sway like hell in the wind rain and snow but they are strong as hell and have stayed upright.

I’d be curious to see the way my wife and son react to the energies of the area. They are more sensitive to those types of things than I am.

I don’t mean to go so off topic but I heard about this thing today and you were one of the first people I thought of. Eventually I’m going to try and get one but I’m going to ask my dad first who’s an electrician what he thinks of it.

It’s called power perfect box and it cleans up the electricity in the home. I don’t know if you’ve got one with your solar panels and you very likely might but I’ve not heard of this type of thing before. They say it’s really good to smooth out the electricity spikes we see and also is particularly relevant with houses and solar panels. Since you’ve talked a lot about your set up I figured I’d see if you had one of these things and what your experience with it is! If not, would be a decent thing to explore!

I don't know about that one, but before we got the solar, we did let the electric company put on an additional surge/spike and lightning protection box on our line. They charge a small fee of course, but it also means they pay to fix any damage caused by such things. Definitely recommend that surge protectors, and such for this area as we get a lot of spikes and surges from the storms.
