Parque Juan Carlos I PARTE#1 [ES]-[EN]

in Worldmappin12 days ago (edited)

¡Hola Friends!

¡Hello Friends!

Today I just grabbed my stuff and I started to see what I could see, among those that I was researching on the internet I got this park called “JUAN CARLOS I” is a huge park and is located in the northeast of the city of Madrid; approximately the park has an area of 160 HA. More than boring you with telling you what it is or what that is, I show you a small part of what I could see in the time I was there. With the promise of coming back to show you PART #2.

On this occasion I went warm because the breezes in Madrid are not at all normal, besides we are in the AUTUMN season, where the sudden changes in temperature are. The cold is about 8 or 10 degrees. The door through which we entered on the east side, near the public library. There at the entrance we can see a fountain and some simulated iron trees.

Then walking followed a path that led to a lake where you could see different ducks in it and people were feeding them from the bridge. The amount of cypress trees, pines and green in general was unique.

I did not want to miss the sunset, when I was walking along the trail in the distance you could see a mountain not so big; to which I returned after the lake and it turned out to be the “Mirador de los cuatro cipreses” (viewpoint of the four cypresses). The experience of being at these heights to be able to contemplate the sunset was unexplainable. I was not the only one who wanted to contemplate the sky, there was also a person with some dogs taking pictures, the dogs were posing for the picture.

As the sunset descended I continued to know, I arrived at a canal; yes a small lake that crosses or divides the park Juan Carlos I, from the “Puente del arco” you can see the entire canal; by chance there were some people in the water rowing boats.

To finish the tour, I passed by a somewhat strange monument which caused me curiosity located inside the park the sculpture path. The monument is called “Inner Journey” by Michael Warren. Later in the distance when I was contemplating the sunset I could see a kind of giant red circle, but I could not see well, I did not know if it was a pyramid or something. When I am close it turns out to be “ESPACIO Mexico - The red donut”; it is a sculpture donated by Mexican architects. When you get to the top you can see how the pink sky ends.

Likewise, the adventure ends for this occasion in the Juan Carlos I Park because at night you can not appreciate the other areas of the park. I say goodbye to this wonderful experience I had today, to show you and try to get closer to know.
