The place is very wide and covered with lots of trees and most of it are also covered with lichens in order for not being lost in the Place, there are big Map put at the site including hotline numbers called if there are emerency happens. Kalatungan Mountain is perfect for those who loves mountain climbing because of it adventuristics activities addens the road trail were climbers headed going to the Mountain top. There are also some mountain guiders ready to take a tour to all tourists and visitors. Wild animals like birds and snakes also found here and most of it are hiding in tree branches and in the thick grasses.
Because of the cold nd foggy areas, some of the wild plants and flowers are already frozen. Most of the wild plants and wild flowers can be seen and found here are ferns, lichens, carnation flowers and even Baston ni Maria flowers. This kind of flowering plants only lives in cold places and can't directly hit from the sun. Most of the wild plants and flowers can be seen here grows at the big stones, rotten tree trunks, Withered wild grass. There are also some fascinating mushrooms grow in the place and it is very attractive because of its designs of its leaves and the colors of it.
There also lots of signs so that visitors and tourists will not be lost during the adventure. Each signs are hanging on the tree branches so that everyone can seen very clearly. Mount Kalatungan is only compost of one big mountain but it takes many hours of travel because of the slippery road trails. Mountain climbers should used ropes so that we can easily climbed up the mountain and wear jackets, Pants and mountain climbing shoes. Approximately there are five stopping points here at the Mountain and those place is perfect to put tents while taking a rest.
Most of the neighboring Mountains here at the place are already covered with fogs and some of it cannot be easily seen. From the top of Mount Kalatungan is the great overviews of the plain place of Bukidnon. Most of the Mountains surrounded near at Mount Kalatungan is also a boundary point between lots of areas here in Mindanao. Even Noon time, this Mountain gives a cool and foggy areas and aside of that they only thing we heard and seen are wild animals like birds perching on the tree branches.
Not farther down from Mount Kalatungan is this small hill facing to the foggy mountain. Here, tourist can put their tents here spending nights and aside of that there are lots of overlooking views. From the top of the hill, it can be seen those road trails at Mount Kalatungan including those big trees and thick fogs at the place.
Below at the Hill is this cold stream, the water flows in here are came from nearby water falls. There are lots of big stones covered with moss and a crystal clear cold fresh water flows. There are lots of fresh water animals lives here like shrimps, fish and even crabs and the most exciting and wonderful here is it can be abled to catched lots of fish for meals while at the camping trip. Mount Kalatungan is truly an adventuristic and perfect place to visit, everyone will really like the beauty and paradisiacal views of the place.
