A few years ago this side of the province of Buenos Aires was my neighborhood, not exactly this town, but the neighborhood next door. I always traveled on this train to come to the federal capital to my place of work, so it brought back many memories. Yesterday I had to do an errand in Bernal, I took this train and after a few stations I was there at the train station that has the same name.
I wanted to take the opportunity to take some photos there at the station before entering the urban planning.
I don't have the opportunity to be in these stations all the time, each one of them is different and has its attractions.
I carried the camera in my backpack with just a kit lens, I didn't need anything else.
I was able to take some photos while one of the trains arrived until a company employee told me that I had to have permission to take a camera there.
I had already taken these and others that I left to edit in black and white. I didn't have the desire, I put away my camera and took out my phone to continue :)
Bernal is a town located in the southern province of Buenos Aires, borders with Quilmes, Avellaneda, Lanús and Lomas de Zamora, These are considered small states so to speak.
The town dates back a little over a century, it is a kind of countryside and according to what I read it tried to be a municipality.
It has numerous sports clubs, a lot of shopping area, clothing and accessories stores, there are many banks there too and is a fairly residential area.
This is one of the shopping galleries that is on a well-known boulevard, near the train station.
Because it is a little far from the federal capital you can get items with cheaper prices.
I remember that at some point we had talked about moving here, since it is a very quiet area, we also visited it at night and even had dinner at this restaurant 👇🏻
You can also see many cafes with this aesthetic and the streets are always decorated with large trees that give more freshness than in other areas.
This is one of the restaurants that offer free pizza service, for $10 you can eat all the pizza you want.
One of the things that caught my attention the most about Bernal was the style of houses, even for rent. This is why we had wanted to move here. I walked a few blocks to take photos of some of these. Unfortunately we were never able to rent some homes of this type, the prices are exorbitantly expensive.
At that time we could not afford it and today it is not possible due to our jobs.
There are houses of different styles and dimensions. It's like living in a kind of Country you could say. Away from all the noise of the big city but that also has its disadvantages.
Traveling by train much earlier every day and not having within reach all the things that the metropolitan area offers.
I hope that one day it will be possible to acquire homes like you are within the city of Buenos Aires and not in the province.
Regarding the styles of architecture or design of the homes, you have to choose and worry about costs and maintenance 😄
Still, living in harmony with nature, being surrounded by many trees is something quite positive.
This is what I would call a somewhat minimalist house. It may be very cozy.
Each locality, region or town must have its respective church. In the distance I saw the top of it and went to look.
It is a quite attractive church in terms of architecture but it seems to me that it is disused, in fact it looked abandoned.
I assume there is a new church or it is also possible that the local authorities do not carry out maintenance work. Everything is possible.
I dared to add a photo in black and white, because of the light.
In fact I added two photos. This is one of the passages that are also seen in the town. I don't think it belongs to upper class people but in the federal capital yes, they don't even allow anyone access, they are heritage and former homes of illustrious people from Argentina.
Other attractions that you can find with those huge pine trees, but also the streets are decorated with excess cables, not everything is perfect.
This corner caught my attention because of the building, it looks like a building with an old style of architecture, designs from more than half a century ago.
These are the views of some of the streets I was walking on, visually attractive tree-lined streets.
I will be planning more visits to small towns that I consider interesting to share with you.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.

Seems really a lovely town and the buildings you photographed are really impressive, seems a mix between modernity and ancient buildings
There's definitely a contrast between old and modern in that sense. Thank you for appreciating and for your comment @noemilunastorta :)
Thanks for the support :)

Hello! Thank you very much for posting in the Worldmappin Community 😃.
We noticed that you included more than one PIN code in the post. This is not necessary and can lead to double pinning. If you are writing about a trip with different points of interest, it is advisable to indicate only one PIN of the most important place or central location.
Double pinning can lead to problems for our curation, so if you keep doing it we can not guarantee you to be considered for our daily Travel Digest.
We recommend that you obtain the code either from https://worldmappin.com/, or by selecting the location directly on the small map at the bottom of the text editor in the PeakD interface.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team on our Discord channel.
Cheers!
