I could not stop myself either! We ate so much, I think we had an overload of them!
For sure, they make the best cheesecake! I am craving a slice just thinking about it.
Still, the shops ask so much! I am growing my own cape gooseberries, and the shops also love to ask a boatload for them. It is so unfair! But the ones you grow at home just taste better than the store-bought ones, to be honest.

so true! We grow some of our own goodies in our garden now (as I'm sure you know) and there is really a massive difference in taste!!!
I think more and more people are going to realise that, hopefully there will be a foodie revolution soon!

Oh damn, freshly picked basil in a pizza sauce is deadly! It is the best. Nothing comes close to it. You will never want to buy herbs again. They also make the best pestos for pasta. I am sure you know, with the basil farm already bolting and going to seed! Cheers to unlimited basil.
