RE: A Day in a Tulip Farm without Tulips - De Tulperij, Netherlands

I feel so ashamed that I had no idea the Netherlands is so famous for its fields of tulips, lol. But thanks to your post, I added some extra knowledge today to my backpack! Also, such a lovely way to discover how many species of tulips are out there since we get to see just the most common ones on this part of the globe, and mostly just red!

Sort:

The variations and vibrant colors of tulips really make this flower unique and as far as I know the Netherlands produces the largest amount of Tulips in the whole world with a lot of variations. I was surprised to see different shades, and sizes of tulips because in Ukraine I mostly saw red and yellow ones. Indeed the fields are worthy to see...

Exactly! Mostly red and yellow in Romania too. That's why I was really happy to explore some new colours and shapes through your post. So thank you for that :)

I hope one day you will be able to see these in person; all you have to do is to plan the right time to visit these fields. :D

Indeed. Will definitely keep in mind! Thank you ❤️
